Musical Monday- The Sun is Shining

I got so caught up in yesterday's post that I forgot to do Musical Monday! So I will do it today. How about Tuesday Tunes?? LOL!

The song this week is another one by Third Day. It is called "The Sun is Shining" and it's from the album "Wherever You Are". It came out in 2005 but its message is everything I went through during that difficult time three years prior. For me, it was a song of healing and new beginning. At the time, I was pregnant for my second child and felt that truly the sun was shining on me again. I felt so humbled and grateful for God bringing me through and for all His blessings. Listening to this song now, I am focused on the lines "I will lift my voice; No, I won't be silent. For You heard my cry, and You turned my mourning into dancing, so forever I'll sing..." and feel so thankful for what God has done for me that I want to share with those who are hurting the hope and peace that I have today. I have felt ever since this happened to me that I wanted to reach out and be a comfort and encouragement to people going through tragedy. But I always "chickened out" because it is so hard to know what to say or do in difficult times. I am not good with words, especially face to face. Then there is the fact that you could say something to someone and have it be comforting and then for another person, those same words could be useless and even hurtful. I know that I had both types of things said to me. So I keep waiting on God to show me what to do, to give me the words. I feel like this blog could be an outlet for that but not sure how to make it work. Well, I guess I will just keep praying and searching. I just want to be a blessing to people and use even my difficulties to glorify God.
