Toys for the Boys...
Batman Batcave- Zach has wanted this for a while now but it's $50 in the stores. He was so excited to find it for $4 at a garage sale!
Remote control racers- Zach went to pay for the blue racer ($1) and the lady told him that it was both sets for $1! Extra Bonus- they both worked when we put batteries in them at home ( you just never know when you buy them without batteries)!
Big trucks $1 each- Luke loves any kind of truck so he had to have these. The big one plays music (loudly). That one might go to Grandma's to play with there. LOL.
Littlest Pet Shop houses- I got these at a children's sale (like a mom to mom sale) for $3 for all three. They have three mini pets each with a little house to play with them in. Katelyn had never seen them before and loved them!
Frog Slippers- $3- kinda pricey (from the children's sale) but they looked brand new. She loves flip flops and I knew she's get a kick out of these. They are soft and fuzzy and perfect for around the house (she even wanted to wear them to bed). LOL.
I love that I can use Zach's clothes for Luke since they were born at the same time of year. So anything I buy for Zach is well worth the money since I get two kids out of it!
2 Oshkosh shirts, 2 pairs of Lee jeans, 2 pairs of Champion running pants, slippers- all in like new condition! $1 each
2 long sleeved shirts- $1 each
2 pairs of jeans- 50 cents each
Grey sweater- 50 cents
Cut off shorts- 50 cents
Cotton shorts- 25 cents
Bathing suit- 75 cents- this was awesome since I had bought her a new suit for this year for $12 at the store but she hadn't used it yet, so I just returned it!
All books- $1 each- a good deal since some were hardcover or thick books.I also got some Scholastic Q&A books and a Mailbox Superbook in the deal. Also included were drawing books, a science lesson plan book and a unit study book on Pioneers.
Flip 4 game- this was funny because I didn't actually plan on getting this. I accidentally picked it up with my stack of books but the lady didn't add it in to the total. I didn't know it was there until I got home. Thankfully, the sale was in my subdivision so I went back and gave her the $2. It is a cool game so I probably would have bought it if I had seen it the first time! (:
Play money $1- Giant coins and bills. The bills have each denomination (as do the coins) and are laminated with velcro on the backs! Cool!
Magic Math board for division- 25 cents
Eye Clops magnifier- When I went back to pay for the Flip 4 game, the lady asked me if I had one of these. I said no, so she told me about it and it sounded really cool. You plug it in to the TV and shine the scope on something and it magnifies it up to 200x and displays it on the TV. I asked her how much it was and she said I could have it for free! How nice is that?! We went home and tried it (we looked at our skin and hair) and it was so neat! Just to be curious, I looked it up on amazon and it's $60!! We never would have bought this normally so getting it for free was a blessing! I think the kids will really use it in school.
