The only bad thing about this system is that dry erase markers scare me. The ink DOES NOT come out of clothing which I learned the hard way long ago. So every time the kids use them, I am on pins and needles. I know, I could have them wear a smock or an old shirt but who wants to manage that! Plus, how do you protect the carpet, the couch, the tablecloth?? Well, now there is a way! I went into my local office supply store yesterday and when I saw these babies, I literally whooped for joy! Be still my heart- dreams do come true! Stain-phobic mothers rejoice!

This Makes Me Happy!
One of my favorite homeschooling ideas is to put worksheets in page protectors and then use dry erase markers to write on them, saving your worksheets and money!! I've made several "books" by tearing the pages out of workbooks, putting them in page protectors, and then into a 3 ring binder. It's great! I also use single page protectors when it is an individual worksheet, but I want to reuse it. I just hand it to one of the kids and they think it is so cool using "markers" instead of their pencils to do their work!

Sorry for the bad picture, but Wow, This Makes Me Happy! WASHABLE dry erase markers! No more worrying about messes or stains! The kids can work those times tables to their hearts content and Mommy won't have a heart attack! I think everything should come in WASHABLE. (:
