Scatterpillar Scramble

Chris was at Kmart yesterday and they had alot of toys 50% off the clearance price! He picked up this game, Scatterpillar Scramble, for only $5! The kids and I tried it out today and it was alot of fun! The concept is to use tongs to place marbles on the caterpillar "hands" and to be the first to fill up your row. It sounds easy but it's not since the caterpillar is movin' and groovin' and playing a fun tune! It was alot harder than it looked and all the kids were challenged by it. Zach got pretty good at it right away, but it was still good hand eye coordination practice for him and of course for the younger kids as well. It is for ages 3 and up since it contains marbles (plastic, non-magnetic) so I watched Luke closely and helped him use the tongs. He also just used his hands to put the marbles on and he would laugh when they'd fall off. Scatterpillar Scramble is a perfect activity for a rainy day!
