Well, another year has begun! 2012. I wonder what this year will hold. What things will make me laugh, and what things will make me cry? Hopefully a lot more laughing than crying! It's funny how every year has it's signature, like a picture in your mind of what happened that year. Was it a "good year" or was it an "I'm glad that year is over" year? I have to say that 2011 will be one of those years I call "a year of changes". 2011 brought many changes to my family in more ways than I ever imagined. Not in my wildest dreams did I think in January 2011 I'd be doing all the things I was doing in December 2011, and all the things that happened in between. So many life changing experiences, so many lessons learned- and still learning.
2011 was also a year of awakening. Over this past year, Chris and I have learned so many things about our faith and ourselves, that I do not consider us the same people we were. Our mindsets have changed as well as our perspectives about many things in life. All of these are good things, blessings from our Father. He has shown us so many things about His will for us and for our future. I am so excited to dive into this new year to see what He will reveal to us next. I can only imagine what 2012's signature will be.
