A week's worth

The other day I was thinking about how much our family eats! It seems like the kids are constantly eating and we are going out for groceries every other day! Zach especially has a huge appetite and the kid is always asking for food! Thankfully, he eats fairly healthy and is not as picky as he used to be. Katelyn does well too and has her little repertoire of things she likes. Luke is not picky but he doesn't eat a ton of food. I'd say it's normal for his age though. I guess it just doesn't seem like alot when Zach is eating more than Chris and I! What will I do when they are teenagers! Ack!

So anyway, I thought it would be fun to keep track of some of the basic things we eat and make a list of how much it is for one week. This is not even a comprehensive list since I know we probably ate stuff that I didn't write down, but you'll get the idea. Oh, and this is just what the three kids and I ate. Chris is on a special diet and doesn't eat alot of the food we eat, so I just kept track of my and the kids' intake. It was fun to see all the things we eat, and things we need to eat less of (carbs) and more of (protein/veggies). So for all you "by the numbers" people, here ya go...

2 gallons of milk
1- 50 oz jar of applesauce
